I have fine, wavy hair which frizzes easily. I regularly lighten w foils (in salon). Good: This was great at managing the brassy tones – though you only need a tiny amount. I do not leave it in for too long as it will make your hair look flat and grey after 2-3 mins, and I do not recommend using more than once a week. Bad: First time using this blonde conditioner, and it left my hair extremely dry and felt stripped, porous and over treated. Second time I mixed it with Olaplex conditioner (No. 5), which helped but still left my hair feeling really dry. Third time I changed my ratio, adding more No. 5, and finished with a second conditioner with No. 5 only which was better, but seems silly to have to do so many conditioners because this No. 5P is so harsh. I’m a natural dirty/mousy blonde, and my hair is fairly dry- perhaps this product is less brutal on stronger and darker hair types (?). Conclusion: I will stick with Kevin Murphy and L’Oreal.
